Air Conditioning Service

air-conditioning

Your vehicle’s AC system is responsible for cooling, removing excess moisture and circulating this air throughout your vehicle. Your air conditioning system works through a series of processes that involve refrigerant.

Any vehicle equipped with A/C has a compressor and a number of other components and pipes to work correctly, such as the condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator.

Basically, the compressor will pump the refrigerant through these components, it is then transformed from a hot gas into a liquid and then cooled.

At some point in your vehicle’s life, usually on the hottest day for the year, your A/C will stop working. This is where the trained technicians at Ina Auto Service come in. During an AC system diagnostic we will hook up our A/C machine to pressurise the system, inspect the belts for cracks, inspect the compressor and other pipes and fittings for leaks, we can also monitor the electrical components and functionality of the controls.

With many components involved, any number of them can fail causing the A/C to stop working correctly, in some cases it can be a refrigerant leak. Our trained technicians can evacuate and recharge your system with refrigerant, at this time we will also use professional leak detection tools to locate the problem within your system.

If you experience any issues at all with your vehicles A/C system, please call, message or email us to make an appointment.
